  Hi all, 

this is my v2 for Intel APX support.

Changes since v1:
- Refactored the APX tests to simplify them
- Added actual linux corefile testing, as indicated here:
  https://sourceware.org/pipermail/gdb-patches/2026-July/228568.html
- Dropped the patch
  "gdb: add maintenance set/show gcore xml-target-description command"
  for the maintenance command
- Fixed some nits in the actual gdb code, also based on Keith's
  feedback, but no functional changes
- Fixed the "apx" naming -> "Intel APX"
- Fixed the documentation according to Eli's feedback
- Fixed copyright year
- Changed the co-author to my new name (Joos)
